Visang Education, the global education & culture company (KOSPI 100220, CEO Tae-hoe Yang) will supply KLaSS, the Korean Language Smart Solution, to the third Vietnamese university followed by Nguyen Trai University and Vietnam-Korea Industrial Vocational Technology College.

On 26th October, Visang Education announced that the KLaSS opening ceremony was held and the began its first class on 16th at the College of Urban Works Construction (President Bui Hong Hue) in the North Region of Hanoi, Vietnam.

This business project was pulled off as part of the Inclusive Business Solution (IBS) promoted by Visang Education and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA, President Mi-kyung Lee) for partner countries, and Visang Education is playing the lead role for the project. 

Accordingly, Visang Education provided a system necessary for digital classes, such as the Korean Language Smart Solution (KLaSS) Program, teaching methods, an electronic blackboard and tablet PCs to the Korean language center operated by the College of Urban Works Construction. 

In particular, if face-to-face classes are difficult due to the spread of COVID-19, remote/online classes can be conducted using video solutions, ensuring that Korean language learning will never be interrupted.

Visang Education Vietnam Chief Representative Tae-in Yoon said, “I realize that the interest in Korean language is increasing day by day in Vietnam due to the increasing number of Korean companies that are trying to venture into Vietnam and the impact of Korean Wave (Hallyu) content such as K-pop. I hope that Vietnamese people can learn Korean language more easily in exciting new ways and use them in their own studies and working lives.” 

The College of Urban Works Construction, under the Ministry of Labor, Vietnam, is an educational institution that promotes overseas employment for trained Vietnamese workers in accordance with the Vietnamese government's open door policy. The college provides students receiving vocational training aiming to find employment in Korean companies with Visang Education’s Korean Language Smart Solution (KLaSS) to learn Korean language. 

The College of Urban Works Construction President Bui Hong Hue said, “Recently, in order to meet the demands of overseas markets, the College offer not only professional competency training but also intensive foreign languages ​​programs. As international exchanges are expanding in various fields while maintaining friendly cooperative relationships between the two countries, we will actively support employment of skilled workers with Korean proficiency to work in Korea and to Korean companies in Vietnam.”

Visang Education plans to build a total of 24 classrooms for the Korean Language Smart Solution (KLaSS) Program in three Vietnamese universities in cooperation with KOICA, and contribute to fostering high-quality human resources capable of interpreting and translating Korean and production workers who can speak Korean in the industrial field.

“I hope that Visang Education and the College of Urban Works Construction will cooperate closely so that competent youths in Vietnam can grow into excellent workforce that meets industrial demands. Furthermore, I hope that the digital Korean language education project promoted by KOICA and Visang Education will contribute to strengthening the partnership between the two countries.” KOICA Vietnam Office Vice President Mi-young Seo said in her congratulatory remarks. 

Apart from Visang Education, KOICA, and officials from the College of Urban Works Construction, Jae-guk Lee (Labor Attaché at the Korean Embassy in Vietnam), Sun Hong (Vice Chairman of the Korea Chamber Of Business in Vietnam), Min-joon Park (Head of the Southern Policy Department, Kotra), and other officials attended the opening ceremony on October 16th.
