Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards were awarded to Visang education textbooks and certified elementary school textbooks in the 2022 A Design Awards 

A Korean textbook publisher, Visang Education(CEO Yang Tae-hoe), announced on the 2nd that its textbooks, certified elementary school textbooks, as well as its goods brands, had won gold, silver, and bronze awards in Italy at the A Design Award & Competition 2022.

Every year since 2010, the "A Design Award" recognizes design excellence and innovative ideas submitted in 100 fields under the themes of products, graphics, architecture, and interiors. In addition, it is sponsored by the European and International Design Associations and organized by OMC Design Studios in Italy. A panel of 227 leading designers, distinguished scholars, and influential journalists reviews the entries anonymously.

"Science is O2!" won the gold prize in the Graphic and Visual Communication Design Category, as were "Elementary Mathematics, Social and Science certified textbooks," "Concept Plus Type," "Full included," and "Biscuit" respectively. The company's entries were all recognized as Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners.

The gold-winning science textbook "Science is O2!" was recognized by judges for successfully redesigning the brand identity and exceeding the limitations of paper books through digitalization in response to the growing demand for digital content. QR codes, which were integrated into the cover design of the textbook, attracted attention because they provided easy access to advertising and information related to the textbook.

Among the positive comments regarding the silver-winning "Elementary Mathematics, Social and Science certified textbooks" is their play and activity-oriented design structure, allowing students to participate outside of a standardized textbook framework actively. "Concept Plus Type" is a mathematics workbook designed for elementary, secondary, and high school students and was designed to allow effective learning through the organic interconnection between Concept Books and Drill Books in a short time. "Full included, another silver-winning work, provides students with an OMR card and test paper to allow them to take a mock test on their own, attracting significant attention. 

Visang Education also won a Bronze Award for its special learning kit, "Biscuit," for which the company has received 17 cumulative awards from 2019 to the present. Moreover, according to the company's assertion, it has demonstrated the world's strongest design competitiveness by winning consecutive awards, including "A Design Awards," "IF Design Awards," and "German Design Awards.“

Kim Jae-hoon, Director of Visang Education's Creative Design Research Institute, stated in his remarks, "I am delighted that Visang's sensual design capabilities have been recognized at the world widely recognized design awards" adding, "We will provide students with fun learning opportunities by designing differentiated design.“

In the meantime, the award-winning works will be presented through the Gala Night and the "A Design Awards" exhibition in the Como area near Milan.
