■ Visang Education, Exports the Early Childhood English Program “Wings”to Candidzone Technologies, Which Provides IT Consulting and Business Solutions, in the State of Qatar... Pulled Off the Contract Through Online Consultations Organized by KOTRA 
■ Plans to Supply “Wings” to Educational Institutions Such As Kindergartens in Qatar From Next Semester

Visang Education, the global education & culture company (KOSPI 100220, CEO Tae-hoe Yang) exports the Early Childhood English Program “Wings” to the State of Qatar after China, Vietnam, and Myanmar. 

On 26th November, Visang Education announced that the company entered into a contract with Candidzone Technologies, which provides IT consulting and business solutions, in the State of Qatar, and had an online contract ceremony on the 23rd.  The company will provide “Wings” to educational institutions in Qatar from next semester. The contractual term is the minimum guarantee with the contract period of 7 years. 

Joon-woo Hyun, the head of Visang Education EdTech Division,said “Visang Education EdTech products are creating a new era of education through interactive classes, integrating online and offline, face-to-face and contact-free education. We will strengthen our strategic partnership with Candidzone Technologies to grow the Qatar education market with Korea's excellent IT technology and content.”

This contract was pulled off through the Online EdTech Export Consultation Meetings by Industry which was organized by the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA). The meetings were arranged to support domestic companies to develop and enter new markets in the Middle East as export consultation and overseas sales opportunities have reduced due to the successive cancellation of overseas exhibitions in the crisis of COVID-19.

Rakgon Kim, Head of KOTRA DOHA, said, “Without face-to-face meetings, dozens of online communication sessions lasting six months through video conferences and e-mails produced meaningful results. This contract is expected to serve as an opportunity for Visang Education to advance into other countries in the Middle East, Africa and Europe.”  

Candidzone Technologies is a company that provides IT consulting and business solutions since its founding in 2014. The company started as an IT consulting and outsourcing company, but now it is expanding into EdTech. Under this contract, the company plans to operate the business of supplying Wings to educational institutions in Qatar from next semester. 

Candidzone Technologies Executive Director Manhar Mohammed said, “We sincerely thank KOTRA DOHA for their efforts in the conclusion of this contract. It was difficult to find an overseas partner and open a new business in the COVID-19 pandemic situation. However, it was possible because the two companies actively discussed and communicated online. We hope that the business in the future will also be carried out successfully. 

The Early Childhood English Program “Wings” is a smart learning program that combines early childhood English content with “AllviA”, an EdTech platform developed by Visang Education. Wings was developed to improve listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills evenly through an interactive teaching method. A learner uses his or her tablet PC, textbooks, and a teacher’s electronic blackboard. The program focuses on interactions taking into account of children's developmental stages, creativity and sociality.

Visang Education is currently in discussions with Candidzone Technologies on a plan to supply a new contact-free learning service that combines Wings with a cloud-based distance education platform, which is currently in the development stage, to Qatar.
